24 Hour Alarm Monitoring & Remote Video Alarm Verification

The monitoring of your alarm system has 4 options: Dialler, GSM/GPRS, Ethernet & Safecom

Digital Dialler Monitoring

This type of monitoring is as the name describes; it’s a "Dialler" inside your alarm system. When it has to communicate its information to the Control Room, whether it be an alarm condition or open/close signal, the Dialler will pick up your telephone line and “dial” our receiver with the information. A local call charge is incurred each time the dialler calls the Control Room.

In the event of the telephone lines being cut or down due to a fault in the Telstra exchange etc, the alarm system WILL NOT communicate back to the Control Room for the duration.

SAFECOMMONITORING

Safecom is a system for monitoring alarms via a 2-way radio – no telephone lines are used for this system except for remote downloading or back-up in the case of radio failure. The system at the client’s premises is regularly polled to check its operation. The Safecom Radio network is readily available in areas where the Securitel or GSM network may not cover. From the Control Room we can arm or disarm the system and control up to 3 outputs.

GSM MONITORING

GSM is monitoring via the digital mobile telephone network. Its coverage can be anywhere in Australia where a mobile telephone can operate. The alarm's primary communication path can be either via your normal telephone line or by GSM with the alarm system reverting to the other upon failure of the primary path. The alarm system is also programmable to poll at a regular interval to test the line integrity.
